Mt. Fuji

Mount Fuji is an absolute symbol of Japan and a stratovolcano between Shizuoka and Yamanashi regions. It is the highest peak in Japan rising up to 3,776 meters above sea level and can be seen from Tokyo on a clear sky day. This volcano has repeatedly erupted over time and Japanese people have lived with it ever since.
Mt. Aso
阿蘇山
Mount Aso is the largest active volcano in Japan and among the largest in the world. It stands in Aso Kuju National Park in Kumamoto prefecture, on the island of Kyushu. It rises up to 1,592 meters above sea level.

桜島
It is the most active volcano and the symbol of Kagoshima. It rises over 1,117 meters high and has a circumference of over 50km. It is easy to get there from the port of Kagoshima and you will find many activities around it such as hiking, foot bathing, onsens. You can continuously see the smoke coming out of the volcano.
